Welcome To Our Nursery.

Ran by Mrs Tempest, a qualified Nursery nurse with 33 years experience of working with children. Present Staff hold a level 3 childcare certificate. There is always a staff member present at our sessions who hold a paediatric first aid. We work closely with agencies including the local Early years team and the local Children’s centre.

Aims of Twinkle Toes

Children to flourish in a safe caring setting in which it is multi-cultural aware and equal opportunity. We always work towards children developing self-esteem in an atmosphere of mutual respect. We also encourage and exercise sharing, caring and respect for others. This enables children to move confidently to the next setting.

Finally, we operate a child centred approach to curriculum planning. Children are encouraged to self select equipment & materials suited for their development.

Twinkle Toes are a small friendly local community nursery. We operate from 2 rooms, a nursery room and a hall. There is also access to a secure garden area full of lovely learning experiences.

Therefore, please be ready to value your children’s collage and runny paintings.

We are open during Term-Time, but also provide activities and a Play Scheme during school holiday.
